Rooted in Purpose

Founded in Edinburgh in 2022 by multi-disciplinary artist Alexandra Borghino, the company’s name is a tribute to Willow, a young girl Alexandra cared for as an au pair in 2016 (pictured here). Sharing a world of imagination, nature, and endless storytelling, they formed a bond that inspired not just a name, but a creative philosophy.

We believe that theatre should welcome everyone. With a professional background working in schools and alongside children with additional support needs, Alexandra ensures that inclusivity and accessibility aren’t just afterthoughts, they are the foundation of our creative process.
